A photoshoot with me is like hanging out with a good friend, there’s no pressure to be anything but you and before you know it, you’ll have forgotten there’s even a camera involved.
My experience with photoshoots means that I have many different ideas for fun games to keep your little ones entertained, prompts to help capture that special moment between you and your partner and techniques to help you all to relax into the space and create effortless photos.
Forget about awkward poses in front of the camera, this is different

Don’t worry, this isn’t about posing and getting that perfect studio portfolio.
This is about capturing the moments in between, the moments when you are being yourself.
The way that I work means that you can just relax and most importantly have a good time during your photoshoot so that you not only come away with beautiful photographs but also memories that will last a lifetime.

I’m really awkward in front of the camera, can you help?
This is something I hear often. Not to worry, most people aren’t naturals in front of the camera, including myself. My aim is to make you feel comfortable, no awkward stiff posing and saying cheese here! I’ve got a list of great prompts that I know work well and soon enough, you’ll forget we’re even doing a photoshoot. My aim is to capture your true, authentic selves and tell a story.
Where are you located and where can we have a photoshoot?
After travelling to so many beautiful countries around the world, I now find myself back in Victoria BC, where I grew up as a child. Inspired by the incredible mountains and ocean that surrounds us on Vancouver Island I find myself excited to capture people’s special moments in this wonderful place.
Whether it’s a beach at golden hour, or the comfort of your own home whilst you make pancakes for breakfast, wherever you want your shoot, I can make it happen.
If you’re unsure of where you want to capture your photos, don’t worry, I have a bunch of great tried and tested locations in mind.
I am also a lover of travel so if you find yourself further afield, just get in touch and lets chat about where you are and the possibilities of us making magic in another location.
I don't know what to wear, can you help?
Of course! Once I have an idea of what style of photoshoot you would like, I can then recommend colour schemes and clothing ideas. In general, I suggest neutral clothing to keep the focus on you. I also have a beautiful client wardrobe for Mommas to be and babies newborn to 1 year.
How will you edit my photos?
The editing of photos is often the longest part of the whole process; from selecting the final images to then editing them and making them as perfect as the moment itself.
When I begin to work on your photos, my aim is to keep them as natural as possible. This means no unnaturally high contrasts or over editing so much that you don’t even recognize the people in the photos. However, if you do have any specific subtle touch ups you would like; bumps and scrapes for example, just let me know, these are your images and I want to work with you to make them perfect.
Can I order prints?
Absolutely. You can order prints, canvases and much more through your gallery. If you need any help or have any questions, please let me know.
How do I book?
You’re ready to book a shoot, awesome! Head over to the contact page and pop in your details. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible and once we’ve agreed on a date, I’ll send you over a contract and questionnaire. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is sent, you’re all booked in!
What is your approach?
My mission as your photographer is to make you feel relaxed so that I can capture you as your true authentic self. Capturing the small moments in between those main shots is my goal; the discreet looks, the gentle touches, the moments that could otherwise go un noticed, I see them and I will capture them.
When will I receive my photos?
I want to get your photos to you as soon as possible but I also don't want to rush the process, I aim to get your photos to you within 2-3 weeks (excluding weddings), don't worry, I'll send you some sneak peaks so you don't have to wait too long!
How many photos will I get?
